I am trying to reprogram some RDU4100 and RDU4160d radios for use with a repeater. The frequencies I need are not in the standard 89, so it appears I need the dealer software. Half of the radios have already been programmed with the free version 5, so I am not sure if I need 5 or above.

try 5 let me know what happen
tech, I have used the free CPS v5 on 2 of the radios, but it does not give access to the frequencies I need. Specifically, I am trying to add 469.500 and 469.550. Is there a dealer v5 in the downloads that I am missing?
I will check out something on the dealer software and let you ok

Great, thank you.
i have the XTNi dealer software, that radio is the equivalent radio of the RDX in the United States .if you want i will upload and ask for valadition
do you want to give software try .no offence when i say googling around.
From Googling around, it doesn't look like that worked for other people. I'll give it a shot and maybe try the software region registry hack I saw in the forum. Please upload and ask for validation.
tech, the forum is saying by time your last post is before mine, but by post number after mine. In case it wasn't clear, yes, I would like to try your XTNi dealer software.
you can now download the software it is on the main page

Got it, thanks. I'll give it a try tonight.
Edit: Unfortunately, it gives me an error of 'The CPS Does not support this radio's region. Please use RDX Series CPS.' I tried the region hack, but the registry entry noted doesn't exist for this CPS.

So on the RDX Series radios they do not actually have a dealer version. What you would need to enter custom frequencies is a dealer password. Really wish someone had a crack of some sort. The only way to get custom frequencies is to either contact the dealer where you bought them or Motorola and have them sent you a profile with your specific frequencies
